Comp Team: Welcome

What We Don't Do:

Because family is important, we try to keep your weekends as free and your wallets as full as possible.

No rehearsals on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Minimum class requirements: one acro, one ballet, and one team class per week.
Weekly cost for team will not exceed per week.
No extra charges for duets, solos, trios, or additional groups. Once you're on one group, class fees are free for the rest. And there aren't any additional choreography or rehearsal fees either!
We do not compete outside of Missouri.
No additional required cost for rhinestones, special makeup, or other hidden extras.
No group hotel fees or coach traveling expense fees.
Workshops, extra classes, and camps are free with the exception of guest teachers.
All choreography is done in-house by our own talented staff.
Trophies are distributed among the team members at the end of the year. No need to purchase trophies.
Team class will never cost more than $28/week.

Comp Team: About Us

Ask every team member and coach to bring their 'A' game to every rehearsal and competition; support one another, and be positive influences, always.

Expect older students to mentor and encourage younger/newer team members.
Compete primarily Acrobatic Dance. This is the best way for us to feature dancers and acrobats of all abilities performing their strongest skills.
Ask for good attendance at all required classes.
Place students on team based on their potential, drive, family involvement, attendance, and support of HDG and what it stands for.
Maintain a small team of dedicated, like-minded individuals rather than a huge team of students who do not know one another and don't share common goals.
Have bonding activities like pool parties, surprise parties, secret friends, and lock-ins.
Incorporate the strengths of EVERY student into the routines. Because we truly believe that everyone has something special to bring to the table, and it is our job to find it and show it to the world!
DITCH THE DRAMA! Our mission is to make dance FUN and supportive. That cannot happen with drama. Students or parents who do not exhibit team spirit and respect are not welcome.
